Getting many BLAST hits

Normally you just one the top one or few BLAST hits. SequenceServer’s default parameters work great for most situtions.

But sometimes, situations arise, where you may want many more.

In SequenceServer, you can choose how many hits you want from the popup in the setting section.

But if you want even more, you can put as big a number as you want in the Advanced Parameters.

Feel free to try pushing the limit on this

• with thousands of hits the page will take longer to load (as everything needs to be downloaded)
• your browser will slow down - the more RAM you have the better.

FYI - you can include any BLAST parameter that would work in the commandline.
